Special octadecyl-modified silica phase for HPLC analysis of PAHs. Features: Base material NUCLEOSIL® silica; particle size 5 µm; pore size 100 Å; polymeric coating. Eluent in column acetonitrile – water (70:30; v/v). Allows efficient gradient separation of the 16 PAH according to EPA. Detection of the separated PAHs by UV (250 to 280 nm); with diode array or with fluorescence detection at different wavelengths for excitation and emission (Acenaphthylene cannot be analyzed with fluorescence detection.).
