Reagecon Appoints Vicky Howard as General Manager
As General Manager, Vicky will be the site lead for Reagecon (within the Calibre Scientific organization) and is responsible for its overall success.
An experienced business leader, Vicky will succeed John Barron, a founding member of Reagecon. There will be a transitional period over the first quarter of 2022 where John and Vicky will continue to work closely together to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. Following this transition period, John Barron will be joining the Advisory Board of Calibre Scientific and will continue to work at group level in a non-executive capacity.
Calibre Sicentific’s CEO Ben Travis has said ‘During her tenure with Calibre Scientific, Vicky has continued in the role of Reagecon Operations Director, and it is clear to all of us on the Calibre Scientific Senior Leadership Team that her time has been well spent in that role by implementing changes that improved efficiency, lowering cost, and helped make many systems and processes more robust. These qualities have led us to the decision to extend her an offer to take on new and greater responsibilities in Reagecon’.
As a committed lifelong learner, during Vicky’s time at Reagecon, she has completed a Masters in HRM at UL, a certificate in Company Secretarial Law and Practice and achieved her coaching qualification through Kingstown College. Vicky also volunteers on the Board of Clare Youth Service and is currently Chairperson of the Board.
Of her appointment, Vicky has said “We have a phenomenal team at Reagecon and I am beyond excited to lead, with my colleagues on the Senior Leadership Team, the organisation into a new era within the Calibre Scientific group; this opens a wealth of opportunities for our customers and our teams”.
