RDC (Rapid Decalcifier) has been manufactured using the same formulation since 1974, therefore, offering you proven performance and consistent results. In addition to Hydrochloric acid, RDC contains both protein and membrane stabilisers to protect morphological and straining characteristics. Decalcification of small pieces of bone such as trephines can be completed within 3-10 hours. A non-destructive calcium oxalate or x-ray testing can determine the endpoint.
