Anything less does not allow assessment of the pipette against manufacturers' or users' specs, and does not comply with ISO 8655-6, which specifies that less than 10 measurements by 3 volumes is a
check and not a calibration.

Some providers offer a low-cost “pipette service” comprising only 2 measurements at each of 2
volumes. This inferior service falls short of most
laboratories’ requirements, and doesn’t enable you to correctly assess your pipette against the manufacturer’s or your own specification.
