Reagecon is a market leader in the manufacture, calibration and distribution of a complete range of scientific and laboratory apparatus, consumables and chemicals targeted at all segments of the laboratory and scientific markets. The products are sold into a wide range of markets in Ireland and are exported into over 50 countries worldwide. The company currently employs 85 staff in 2 locations – Shannon and Cork.

The company is currently undergoing a period of unprecedented growth that is more rapid than any other company in our Industry. As a result of this, we are now seeking to make the following key appointments;

SCIENTIFIC PRODUCT SPECIALISTS (x 2) (Ref 03/01)

These are permanent positions working in the Customer Care Department based in Shannon. Reporting to the Customer Care Supervisor, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing an excellent Customer Care service to both new and existing customers.

Applicants who posses a qualification in science and have gained experience working in either a laboratory environment or with laboratory products have a distinct advantage. This role will require working in a customer-focused environment and candidates must have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Good systems skills, a strong administration background and an excellent telephone manner are essential. This role requires specific knowledge and experience in the following areas:

•       Selling laboratory products and service to customers for both home and export markets.
•       Providing customers with technical and product support.
•       Continuous development, account management and maintenance of sales in a specific territory.
•       Preparing and negotiating sales quotations and furnishing tenders.
•       Providing support to the Field Sales Representatives within a specific territory

WAREHOUSE OPERATOR – SHIFT CYCLE (x 2) (Ref. 03/03)

These are permanent roles based at our headquarters in Shannon in our new 24/7 Distribution Centre. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful candidates will provide an accurate and timely picking, packing and labelling service in preparation of goods for despatch within Reagecon on a shift cycle (initially 4.00 p.m. – 12.00 midnight). Candidates must have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team and will have gained experience working in a labelling/warehouse environment including general pc skills. Duties will include:

•       Ensuring all customer orders received after normal working hours are entered, processed and dispatched in an accurate and timely manner
•       Producing labels in accordance with general manufacturing procedures and using the appropriate computer systems provided
•       Picking products from the stores ensuring the correction of stock discrepancies in liaison with the Warehouse Supervisor
•       Labelling products to the required standard, ensuring the correct labels are placed on the correct parts, in the correct position, in the appropriate condition and that all containers are appropriately sealed.

Field Service Engineer (Ref: SE01)

This is a permanent role for an Experienced Service Engineer reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will be required to travel throughout the country and will be responsible for calibration, testing and repairs to maintain functionality and accuracy of laboratory instruments. This role also includes technical support to our customers and co-ordinating service contracts and maintaining all records. A full clean driving licence is required.
