Reagecon is a market leader in the manufacture, calibration and distribution of a complete range of scientific and laboratory apparatus, consumables and chemicals targeted at all segments of the laboratory and scientific markets. The products are sold into a wide range of markets in Ireland and are exported into over 50 countries worldwide. The company currently employs 85 staff in 2 locations – Shannon and Cork.
The company is currently undergoing a period of unprecedented growth that is more rapid than any other company in our Industry. As a result of this, we are now seeking to make the following key appointments;
WAREHOUSE OPERATOR (REF 2A) This is a permanent role based at our headquarters in Shannon. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will provide an accurate and timely picking, packing and labelling service in preparation of goods for despatch within Reagecon. Candidates must have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Previous experience gained in labelling/warehouse environment is an advantage but not essential. This role will involve the following responsibilities:
- To produce labels in accordance with GMP and using the appropriate computer systems provided. (Training Provided)
- To prepare shipments for despatch ensuring appropriate paperwork completed i.e. Dangerous Goods Notes.
- To run daily meetings and co-ordinate with Order Entry Department
- To run reports and schedule work load daily.
- Provide general support to production, labelling and stores as required.
- Perform any other tasks that might be required relating to the Warehouse Operator function.
SCIENTIFIC PRODUCT SPECIALIST (REF 1A) (1 Temporary) This position is based in the Customer Care Department in our Shannon office. Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent customer care service to both new and existing customers.
Applicants who possess a qualification in science and have gained experience working in either a laboratory environment or with Laboratory products would have a distinct advantage. This role will require working in a customer-focused environment and candidates must have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Good systems skills, a strong administration background and an excellent telephone manner are essential. This role requires specific knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- The primary responsibilities include selling laboratory products and service to customers for both home and export Markets.
- Providing customers with technical and product support.
- Responsible for the continuous development and maintenance of sales in a specific territory.
- Preparing and negotiating sales quotations and furnishing tenders.
STRATEGIC SOURCING TEAM MEMBERS (x 3) (REF 1B) These are permanent roles based at our headquarters in Shannon. Reporting directly to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the development of the Strategic Sourcing function within the company. Applicants will possess a third level scientific qualification and will have gained 3 – 5 years experience at purchasing or selling laboratory products and services. This role requires specific knowledge and experience in several aspects of professional procurement.
