ON: THURSDAY NOV 24TH, 2005 FROM: 10.15am to 4.00pm The recent recognition of the protozoan Cryptosporidium as an important pathogen in the human population continues to provide challenges for a wide variety of professions. Although well recognised by veterinarians as an important animal pathogen, the epidemiology, control, prevention and laboratory diagnosis of Cryptosporidiosis in the human population concerns public health, environmental, water treatment and laboratory professionals.
Reagecon, as part of our ongoing series of seminars on issues of environmental importance, assembled an outstanding panel of experts to present the seminar on all important aspects of this disease causing organism. Full details of the seminar, speakers and topics that were covered are outlined in the official invitation above. The seminar hosted over 50 guests and was a resounding success. More details to follow shortly. For now here is a selection of some pictures taken on the day. |
