Reagecon opens new R&D centre

Reagecon currently manufactures over 2000 chemical standards and reagents, with individual part numbers, all of which were developed in our own Research and Development department. At the end of 2010, the company took in €1.5m of external equity investment in order to expand our R&D capability and consequently grow our marketable product range and diversity. We are currently fitting out new research laboratories with a suite of instrumentation that includes ICP-MS, HPLC-MS, LC-MS-MS, GC-MS (with several detection systems), µNMR and the most up to date IC and UV VIS spectrophotometry.

The fit outs include clean room manufacturing and testing facilities and greatly expanded small volume vial and ampoule filling equipment. We expect to launch several new ranges of organic and inorganic standards throughout 2011 with major additional roll out in 2012 and 2013. Target markets will include the environmental, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, life sciences and agri business centres. As new products become available they will be profiled on this site.
